Baptism is a loud announcement that you are now dead to sin and alive in Christ. We don't like to let this one be swept under the rug - In fact: we partner with you to tell your story! Your testimony is powerful and our church needs to hear it.

In water baptism we publicly display what Jesus modeled through his death, burial, and resurrection. It is our outward expression of the inward change that has taken place in our life; our public declaration of how Jesus changed our life and is our pledge to allow our old nature to die.

In short answer: yes. Jesus both modeled and commanded water baptism in the Bible.The only requirement for water baptism is faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Anyone who believes that Jesus is the son of God and that his death, burial and resurrection allow us to receive eternal life can be baptized. It should be your desire to turn away from sin and live your life trusting Jesus and the new life He has given you.
